Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive north past Mt. Kenya, crossing the equator en route to Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive in the scenic reserve, known for its rare northern species. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the rugged terrain of Samburu. Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, and the unique “Samburu Five.” Visit the Ewaso Nyiro River, a lifeline for both wildlife and local communities. Optional visit to a Samburu village to experience their vibrant culture. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Samburu – Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Depart Samburu and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or airport — marking the end of a memorable northern Kenya safari.
