Tour Plan / Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi → Thingira Cultural Village → Nyeri / Karatina Village
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and head through the agricultural Highlands toward Thingira Cultural Village. Tour the village, visit the crocodile farm, enjoy traditional cuisine and dances. Then proceed to Kianjogu village at the foot of Mt. Kenya in Karatina County for a homestay with a host family.
Day 2: Full Day Farm & Village Activities
Wake up to birdsong and enjoy village life. Take part in tea farm work: picking tea, visiting the buying center for sorting processes, working in vegetable gardens, learning local gardening techniques. In the afternoon visit the Mau Mau caves for a history lesson on Kenya’s freedom fighters. Overnight with host family.
Day 3: Village & Return to Nairobi
After breakfast prepared with your hosts, enjoy a final walk through the village or help in morning chores. Later, depart and drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon.
